Biomedical Engineering Student Association (BESA) represents the BME graduate students at UC Davis. Members of our group research anything from engineering new bone to developing new imaging techniques to understanding the forces exerted by single cells. As a group, we lead scientific outreach events, BME social gatherings, and annual BME events such as recruitment and the BMEGG Research Symposium.

The vision of BESA is to serve as a society of professionals devoted to developing and using engineering and technology to advance human health and well-being.
MISSION
Our mission is to build and support the biomedical engineering community with activities designed to communicate recent advances, discoveries, and inventions; promote educational and professional development; and integrate the perspectives of the academic, governmental, and business sectors.
